Comments 1979 Flyer Bus with aluminum wheels and new tires. This bus was converted to a mobile command unit for the Sheriffs Office in Washington State. It is powered by a recently rebuilt 6V71N Detroit Diesel, and an automatic transmission.
According to both the hub-o-meter and the odometer, there is a total of less then 140,000 miles. There is no rust. 25-30 foot awnings on both sides, two entry doors on the curb side (both air operated with one lever that will open both doors, or each one separately), two air conditioning units on the roof, wired for shore power. The back up camera is in operating condition. All gauges are in operating condition, defrost and heaters in operating condition, all but a 3 clearance lights are in operating condition. The only known body damage so far is one dent above the drivers side windshield about the size of a volleyball, see pictures, and two side windows are cracked. There is a hub seal on the drivers steer wheel that is leaking. The kneeling feature on this bus is also in operating condition.
Air ride suspension all the way around with 12R 22.5 95%+ tread tires with nearly new Alcoa aluminum wheels. | ||

Comments 1979 Flyer Bus with aluminum wheels and new tires. This bus was converted to a mobile command unit for the Sheriffs Office in Washington State. It is powered by a recently rebuilt 6V71N Detroit Diesel, and an automatic transmission.
According to both the hub-o-meter and the odometer, there is a total of less then 140,000 miles. There is no rust. 25-30 foot awnings on both sides, two entry doors on the curb side (both air operated with one lever that will open both doors, or each one separately), two air conditioning units on the roof, wired for shore power. The back up camera is in operating condition. All gauges are in operating condition, defrost and heaters in operating condition, all but a 3 clearance lights are in operating condition. The only known body damage so far is one dent above the drivers side windshield about the size of a volleyball, see pictures, and two side windows are cracked. There is a hub seal on the drivers steer wheel that is leaking. The kneeling feature on this bus is also in operating condition.
Air ride suspension all the way around with 12R 22.5 95%+ tread tires with nearly new Alcoa aluminum wheels. | ||
